Key topics include diagnostic strategies and sampling, principles of debridement, implant and fixation considerations in the presence of infection, staged reconstruction, and systemic and local antibiotic therapy. Emphasis is placed on treatment algorithms, consistency of approach, and applying established FRI principles to everyday clinical practice.
The workshop is aimed at orthopaedic trauma surgeons and clinicians involved in infection management who are seeking applied, experience-based guidance rather than basic science or purely theoretical instruction.
