FORTE Summer School

08.06.2026 – 12.06.2026
Catanzaro, Italy

The FORTE Summer School 2026 is a European educational programme designed for orthopaedic and trauma residents. The course provides a structured introduction to key concepts across orthopaedic practice, with dedicated modules covering infection, reconstruction and biomaterials alongside other core topics.

The programme focuses on foundational clinical principles, clinical reasoning and integration of concepts rather than advanced subspecialty training. Infection-related sessions address diagnostic thinking, basic management strategies and the role of reconstruction and biomaterials in orthopaedic care, framed within the broader context of trauma and musculoskeletal surgery.

FORTE is aimed at early-career clinicians seeking a broad, multidisciplinary overview to support their training and future specialisation. The summer school emphasises learning across domains and exposure to different perspectives rather than hands-on surgical training or consensus-level discussion.
