CourseThe SICOT Cadaver Course: Pelvic & Acetabular Surgery takes place on 24 and 25 August 2026 at Saarland University in Homburg, Germany. This intensive two-day course is dedicated to the surgical management of pelvic and acetabular trauma and is designed for orthopaedic surgeons and residents who want to develop or refine practical techniques for complex fracture surgery.
The programme is divided into two focused days. Day one addresses pelvic ring injuries, while day two concentrates on acetabular fractures. Teaching combines expert instruction with hands-on work using cadaveric specimens and simulation models, allowing participants to study relevant anatomy, surgical approaches and operative techniques in a practical setting.
An international faculty of surgeons with expertise in pelvic and acetabular trauma leads the course, with Emmanouil Liodakis serving as Course Chair. Faculty members include specialists from Germany, Switzerland, Finland, India, North Macedonia and the United Kingdom, providing different perspectives on the management of challenging pelvic and acetabular injuries.
