The Foundation for Orthopedic Trauma Upper and Lower Extremity Dissection Course is a two-day educational programme organised by the Foundation for Orthopedic Trauma (FOT North America). Held at IRCAD North America in Charlotte, the course is designed for PGY2–4 orthopaedic residents and focuses on surgical approaches to the upper and lower extremities through anatomical dissection.
Participants develop their anatomical understanding and practical surgical skills under the guidance of an experienced faculty. The course provides focused training in the surgical exposures used in upper- and lower-extremity trauma care.
The course is particularly suited to orthopaedic residents seeking practical experience with extremity surgical approaches. A resident scholarship opportunity is available.
