10th FESSH Academy Foundation Course in Hand Surgery

28.10.2026 – 31.10.2026
Málaga, Spain

The FESSH Academy Foundation Course 2026 is a four-day educational programme organised by the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand. Led by an international faculty, the course provides a structured overview of the full breadth of hand surgery.

The programme combines lectures, practical sessions and discussion groups. It covers fractures of the hand and wrist, soft-tissue reconstruction, infection and compartment syndrome, tendon and nerve surgery, arthritis, Dupuytren’s contracture, tumours, congenital conditions, tendon transfers and spasticity. The course supports the development of both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical understanding.

The course is particularly suited to senior trainees preparing for the European Board of Hand Surgery examination, as well as experienced surgeons seeking to refresh and update their knowledge across the field of hand surgery.
