2nd Egyptian Bone & Joint Infection Course – EBJIC 2026

16.12.2026 – 18.12.2026
Cairo, Egypt

The 2nd Egyptian Bone & Joint Infection Course, EBJIC 2026, is a three-day educational meeting dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal infection. The course takes place at the Triumph Plaza Hotel in Cairo and brings together Egyptian and international specialists in orthopaedic surgery, trauma, limb reconstruction, arthroplasty, plastic surgery, infectious diseases, microbiology, radiology, infection control and clinical pharmacy.

Building on the first EBJIC course held in 2025, the programme addresses major areas of bone and joint infection care, including fracture-related infection, prosthetic joint infection, paediatric bone and joint infection, chronic osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infection and complex limb reconstruction. The multidisciplinary format reflects the clinical reality that successful treatment often requires coordinated surgical, microbiological and antimicrobial decision-making.

International guest faculty announced for the 2026 course include specialists in prosthetic joint infection, revision arthroplasty, complex trauma and limb reconstruction. EBJIC 2026 is endorsed by SICOT and is relevant to orthopaedic and trauma surgeons, infectious diseases specialists, microbiologists, clinical pharmacists and other professionals involved in bone and joint infection care.

The course will be held from 16 to 18 December 2026 at the Triumph Plaza Hotel in Cairo, Egypt.
