The EBJIS Pre-Course – Prosthetic Joint Infection Management 2026 will take place in Porto, Portugal, immediately before the Joint EBJIS–MSIS Meeting. Organised by the European Bone and Joint Infection Society (EBJIS), this educational course provides focused, practical training on the diagnosis and management of prosthetic joint infection for clinicians involved in arthroplasty and orthopaedic infection care.
The programme covers topics including diagnostic work-up, microbiology, surgical treatment strategies, implant retention and exchange procedures, antimicrobial therapy, multidisciplinary decision-making and the management of complex clinical cases. Participants benefit from expert-led lectures, case-based discussions and practical insights based on current evidence and international practice.
