The 26th Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA) Congress will take place from 21 to 24 April 2027 at the Taipei Marriott Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. As the flagship scientific meeting of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association, the congress brings together orthopaedic surgeons, trauma specialists, researchers, trainees and allied healthcare professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
Representing one of the largest orthopaedic communities globally, the APOA Congress serves as a major platform for sharing clinical expertise, scientific research and advances in musculoskeletal care. The scientific programme traditionally spans the full breadth of orthopaedics, including trauma surgery, fracture management, arthroplasty, sports medicine, spine surgery, hand surgery, paediatric orthopaedics, musculoskeletal oncology and orthopaedic education.
Delegates can expect keynote lectures, instructional courses, specialty symposia, free paper presentations, poster sessions and expert panel discussions delivered by leading international faculty. The meeting places a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, multidisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of new surgical techniques, emerging technologies and clinical research from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The congress also provides valuable opportunities to explore developments in musculoskeletal infection, bone healing, complex reconstruction, implant technology and digital orthopaedics through scientific sessions and a comprehensive industry exhibition. Bringing together clinicians, researchers, professional societies and medical technology companies, the APOA Congress has become one of the leading international meetings for orthopaedic surgery and traumatology in Asia, reflecting both regional innovation and global collaboration.
