The 31st Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (ASBTE 2027) will take place in Sydney, Australia, from 31 March to 2 April 2027. Organised by the Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (ASBTE), the conference brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers and industry professionals working to develop the next generation of biomaterials, medical devices and regenerative therapies.
The scientific programme explores advances in biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, additive manufacturing, orthopaedic and dental biomaterials, biofabrication, medical device innovation, drug delivery, cell and gene therapies, surface engineering and translational research. Through keynote lectures, scientific presentations, workshops and networking sessions, participants can exchange ideas across academia, healthcare and industry while discussing how new technologies are translated into clinical practice.
ASBTE 2027 is particularly relevant for biomaterials scientists, biomedical engineers, orthopaedic researchers, clinicians, medical device developers and industry professionals interested in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and the future of musculoskeletal healthcare. The meeting provides an opportunity to discover emerging technologies, build international collaborations and learn about innovations that may shape future patient care.
